On the last weekend of summer, my best friend Grace, her family, and I went to Six Flags to ride rides and see Skillet in concert! We rode Runaway Mountain, Superman, Shockwave, and Fly Me to the Moon 3D. We also made new friends...
...like Sylvester!

...and eyes! Plus, we also met Batman and Green Lantern!
FINALLY, it was the moment we've all been waiting for...

SKILLET!!!

BEN KASICA is one of the most talented lead guitarists I've ever seen!

New drummer JEN LEDGER also sang the second verse of "Yours to Hold"! She has an amazing voice!

JOHN COOPER plays a five-string bass and also sounds just as good live as on the CD!

Grace took this picture of my favorite bandmember...KOREY COOPER, who is married to John Cooper. Isn't that sweet?

Skillet opened up for David Crowder*Band. My camera died and ran out of memory when Skillet was done playing, so I thought I never got a picture of David Crowder*Band...but look at the man in the orange shirt in the background! Who else could that be??? It's David Crowder himself watching Skillet!

Yes, we were very tired...
But amdist the loud guitars, powerhouse vocals, jumping, clapping, and dancing...the message remained the same--Jesus. When David Crowder came on, he spoke of the celebration lasting for eternity. They sang the song "Foreverandever, etc.", and I could just imagine celebrating and praising Jesus forever in Heaven. But at that time, none of us will be on stage. We will be standing before God Himself...jumping, dancing, and lifting our hands forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and...
