"Off to the Fall Festival!" by Frodo Baggins

We had a jolly time at this year's Fall Festival. The weather was quite cold for a hobbit like myself but nevertheless good weather, better than rain anyhow. I must say we have outdone ourselves once again this year, with food, games, face-painting (by me hee hee!), a bounce house, a science show, a cakewalk, and of course, candy by the bucket-load for the children.
While the children were playing, redeeming candy, or participating in the cakewalk as shown above...
...the adults were, well, where the food was. After all, a festival cannot be a festival without food! At least that's what most, if not all, hobbits say. We also had a mad scientist come and demonstrate some tricks with dry ice; it was a clever way to share the gospel with the children.

It was somewhat of a ruckus in the bounce house which contributed to the fun, although I must admit I was a bit relieved to get out of the thing.

And I am also happy to say that I tamed old Shelob with my Light of Elendil, and she very gently nestled herself to a ring as you can see in the picture below--a ring I could well trade in my One Ring for, perhaps to Gollum, since he has been wanting it so much. Or maybe not. I'll keep both. ;-)

A jolly time indeed. If you missed the Fall Festival, I am awfully sorry. :-)
