Christmas Cookies (the first thing I ever baked by myself, boo yah!)

"Oh, these? Oh yeah, *chuckle* I made them myself. They're good aren't they? Ye-ah...you expect any less from Samantha Calimbahin?"

(What you just read above is what we call "dialogue.")

Actually, "monologue."

Anyways, I skipped my Saturday nap and decided to bake Christmas cookies instead. The feat was done entirely solo.

Okay, fine...the dough was already made. Okay, okay, fine...it was one of those pre-cut doughs. But I did roll up the leftover dough and cut stars and a gingerbread man-shape. And I put them in the oven. And, And I decorated all of them. The point is, everything that had to be done was done by me.

If you'd like a word of advice on making Christmas cookies, don't make the gingerbread man (who in this case is a sugar cookie, not gingerbread)...don't make the gingerbread man red. Please. Or else you'll get the Gingerbread Man of Doom like below. Yeah, I hear 'ya, Snowmen, I'm scared too...

It was fun doing it with the Charlie Brown Christmas Soundtrack in the background. And YouTube only has a cheesy instrumental version of Michael Buble's "Let It Snow". Not cool, you guys!

Merry Christmas!

Now tell me your baking stories, doesn't have to be Christmas or funny, although it's preferred. ;-)

NOTE FOR FACEBOOK FRIENDS: I tag you just for the sake of you to read my note, but I do hope to open up conversation with my friends as well. If you're getting tired of me tagging you in notes that have nothing to do with you, but just for the sake of you reading it, please let me know. After all, honesty is the best policy, and I won't be offended. :-)
