YAY!!! This is my very first blog, as you know. Summer has been going really well for me. Two weeks ago, my family and I were in Tennessee; one week ago, I was shopping with my best friend Grace; and this week I went to Six Flags (with Grace again!)! The only downside of summer is that I've been terribly lazy. Yesterday, my dad went crazy at Wal-Mart and bought 8 $5-DVDs; so we have a TON of movies to watch--including two Keanu Reeves movies (Thank you, Mommy!!!). I *heart* Keanu Reeves.
I'll also need lots of prayers this summer. I sent some songs that I wrote to the Embassy Music songwriting contest, the contest Leeland Mooring joined when he was my age. Although he didn't win the contest, one of the judges got interested in him; and well, popular Christian band Leeland was born (a few years later, of course!). So, I'm not sure what will happen, but I'm trusting God. Whatever happens, God's plan is perfect. Please pray with me.
