What are these things? Where did they come from? Ladies and gentlemen, these little creatures are none other than...gnomes.
In the Philippines, my mom said that gnomes supposedly lived in the ant mounds; and if you step on the ant mounds, the gnomes will become angry, and something terrible will happen to you. I've also heard stories about them turning invisible, coming to your doorstep in packs, and listening if humans are saying bad things about them.
I'm strangely intrigued by gnomes, especially after visting a hiking area in Rock City, Georgia, during our summer vacation, where you can enter Fairyland Caverns and see many gnomes displayed. Notice the picture above. Now, maybe you think I don't look really scared, but believe me, I was scared. Then again, there was a friendly gnome at the restaurant inside Rock City (see picture below); but gnomes aren't supposed to be that big, are they?
Anyways, I shared my thoughts with you, reader. Feel free to post a comment and tell me what you think. After all this talk of gnomes, there is only one thing I have to say: I like gnomes. I think they're funny.
