I'd like to share with you something I'm really excited about: This Beautiful Republic's new album, Perceptions! It won't be out until August 19, but you can hear two of their new songs and see a new band photo on purevolume.com/thisbeautifulrepublic. Right now, I'm liking what I hear. The more surprising of the two tracks is "Learning to Fall," which has a worship feel: So now You'll find me on my knees, surrendering/'Cause I know that I'm really not so strong/And now, I'm done fighting for control/Oh, You can have this life that I've been holding for so long/I'm learning to fall. What I like about This Beautiful Republic is that their lyrics are really deep and straightforward; and it looks like they decided not to change that on their second album--at least in the two songs I heard. I couldn't find any album artwork yet, but I'll post it up here as soon as it comes out. So, ladies and gentlemen...Perceptions by This Beautiful Republic hits stores August 19!
