Stuff and Stuff to Pray For

It's been a while since I posted on my blog. Since school started, I have been super busy, but here's an update on what's been going on. To keep things organized, I divided this blog into five different categories, which makes it easy for you in case you're only interested in family and not school, or church and not Bible Blog, etc. I'm sure no one is interested in the Other category (hahaha). Anyways, there is also a special prayer request for each category.

• SCHOOL: School is going well, although it is a lot of work. I am a sophomore (1oth grade), and my favorite subject this year is definitely Spanish! Es divertido. It's fun! Please pray for me, especially in Algebra, for I have been making many careless mistakes that have been costing me....
• CHURCH: Church has been fine as well. YPC (Young Peoples Connection) is meeting every week now, and some kids have been challenged to teach YPC themselves! Please be praying as our teaching pastor and his family (which includes our praise band's drummer) are leaving for Tanzania in a month or so.
• FAMILY: My mom has moved her work schedule and is now working Monday and Friday nights instead of Sunday and Friday nights. Now, we can have family night on Sundays and relax better after church! Please pray for strength and wisdom for my parents.
• MUSIC: The Embassy Music contest is over, and two good-looking young men took the winnning prize--in other words, I lost, but that's okay :) There will hopefully be plenty more contests and other opportunities in the future. Until then, I have made my decision to just seek God Himself and just see what He does. Please pray that God will give me direction and patience.
• BIBLE BLOG: The Bible-reading blog has been going well; the only problem is that the members can't figure out a name yet. If you have any ideas for the name or would like to join, send me an email/text/blog comment and let me know! Please pray that we will be able to find a name for the blog and that others will join.
• OTHER: I'm excited about Anberlin's new album New Surrender, coming out on September 30! If you check my profile, I moved them up into my Top 6 Favorite Bands of All Time List! WOOHOO! You don't really have to pray for that...just wanted to say it. ;)

And...that's it. Just a little look into my life and what's happening right now. :)
